Consumer Reports Names Honda Best Carmaker
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Consumer Reports has named Japanese automakers Honda, Subaru and Toyota the best all-around carmakers for the third year in a row.
The ratings are based on the magazine's average road tests and predicted reliability scores.
Honda had the best overall score, followed by Subaru and Toyota.
Volvo was fourth and then Ford, which made the largest year-to-year gain, and Hyundai.
The lowest rankings were for Chrysler, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and General Motors.
