Constant Craving? Sprinkles Installs 24-Hour Cupcake ATM
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — If you're a cupcake fanatic and have a constant crazing for sweet treats, listen up! The famous Los Angeles-based cupcake bakery, Sprinkles, is launching a branch dedicated to dispensing cupcakes all day, every day — through an ATM called 24-Hour Sprinkles.
"This automatic cupcake machine dispenses freshly baked cupcakes, cupcake mixes, apparel and even cupcakes for Fido," a company spokesperson told LAist.com. "In the heart of Beverly Hills nestled between Sprinkles Cupcakes and the brand new Sprinkles Ice Cream, 24 Hour Sprinkles will be continuously restocked day and night with a variety of freshly baked cupcake flavors."
If your sweet tooth wasn't aching already, Sprinkles also announced its plans to open an ice cream shop next door to the 24-Hour Sprinkles. The store will serve up homemade ice cream with a cupcake on the side (upon request!).
"Our ice cream will be hand-crafted American ice cream using only the finest ingredients, staying in line with the Sprinkles philosophy. Scooped into crisp waffle cones, pressed between fluffy cupcake tops or piled high into sundaes topped with housemade sauces and toppings," the Sprinkles spokesperson added. "Sprinkles Ice Cream shop is a back to basics creamery with a Sprinkles twist! Sprinkles Ice Cream will also serve up freshly baked cookies and brownies!"
