Comedian Kevin Hart Pleads No Contest To DUI

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Comedian Kevin Hart was sentenced to three years' probation Monday after pleading no contest to one count of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The 33-year-old was also fined $390 and ordered to complete three months of alcohol education classes, said Los Angeles city attorney's office spokesman Frank Mateljan.

Another count was dropped in exchange for Hart's plea.

Around 4:30 a.m. April 14, the "Let Me Explain" frontman was seen driving at speeds up to 90 mph on the Ventura (101) Freeway, according to TMZ.

California Highway Patrol officials told the entertainment website that Hart nearly collided with a gas tanker truck before he was pulled over.

Hart failed sobriety tests and was jailed before being released hours later.
