Clippers Reach 1-Year Deal With Free Agent Brandon Bass
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Clippers have signed former Lakers forward Brandon Bass to a 1-year contract, sources say.
The free-agent played with the Lakers last season, averaging 7.2 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game.

Bass has been in the NBA since 2005, when he first played for the Hornets, before joining the Mavericks, Magic, Celtics and ultimately the Lakers last season.
The Clippers will use him in a back-up role, likely playing alongside recently-signed forward Marreese Speights.
