Clippers Already Gaining National Attention
LOS ANGELES (CBS) -- The Clippers organization has been waiting a long time to be the talk of the town, much less the entire NBA.
But with the additions of Chris Paul, Chauncey Billups and Caron Butler, Clipper nation is as hot as its ever been.
Their exhibition opener against the Lakers drew the highest television rating for a preseason game on NBATV, ever, surpassing LeBron James' debut with the Miami Heat last season.
"Every night we step on the floor, teams are going to be gunning for us, " Chris Paul told Jim Hill on Tuesday.
