CHP Seeks Public's Help In Deadly Hit-And-Run In Monterey Park
MONTEREY PARK (CBS) — Authorities Wednesday renewed their appeal to the public for help in finding a hit-and-run driver responsible for killing a 22-year-old pedestrian in East Los Angeles.

The victim was fatally injured about 7:15 p.m. on Dec. 15, as he tried to cross Olympic Boulevard near Simmons Avenue, said California Highway Patrol officer Luis Mendoza.
After striking the pedestrian, the vehicle traveled north on Gerhart Avenue toward Whittier Boulevard, Mendoza said.
The suspect vehicle is believed to have sustained moderate front-end damage, including a broken headlight and a possibly damaged hood and/or windshield.
It is described as a blue, 2008 four-door Subaru Impreza hatchback with a partial California license plate of 6FYG, Mendoza said.
