Driver Arrested In OC Pursuit After Road Closure Violation
BREA (CBSLA.com) — California Highway Patrol officers Friday arrested a driver who led them on a pursuit through several cities in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

The suspect was seen driving a gray Honda CR-V about 40 miles per hour through Orange County streets that were at least partially wet from rain.
The driver appeared to begin yielding in Villa Park around 11:42 a.m. before abruptly driving off again.
The suspect reportedly stabbed or cut himself in the chest and stomach several times throughout the pursuit.
A CHP patrol vehicle was able to perform a PIT maneuver at 11:49 a.m. to stop the vehicle at Prospect Street and Walnut Avenue in the city of Orange.
The suspect was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
