CHP Continues Investigation Into Fatal Crash On I-15
MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — The California Highway Patrol is continuing an investigation into a fatal crash Wednesday that killed a Moreno Valley woman.
The crash occurred just before 1:20 a.m. on the northbound lanes of the I-15 in Hesperia, south of Bear Valley Road, according to authorities.
The San Bernardino County Coroner's office said a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, driven by Guadalupe Salazar, 36, slammed into a parked semi-tractor trailer on the east shoulder.
Salazar, the sole occupant of the pickup truck, was pronounced dead at the scene, coroner's officials reported.
