Child Obesity Study Finds LA County Home To Fattest And Skinniest Cities

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A new study surveying child obesity rates across California found that both the fattest and skinniest cities are in Los Angeles County.

So which city has the highest rate of child obesity? Huntington Park, where 53 percent of children are listed as overweight or obese, compared to 38 percent of the state's children.

Just 18 miles away resides the city with the skinniest kids in California -- Manhattan Beach, according to a study published by the California Center for Public Health Advocacy and the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research.
