Chick-fil-A Opening In Brea Prompts Raffle For Free Meals
BREA (CBS) — With hundreds of people in line for a new Chick-fil-A restaurant opening in Brea, the company is utilizing a new raffle system to reward its loyal customers.
The new restaurant opens Thursday morning at 1647 E. Imperial Highway and has drawn 205 people to wait in line a full 24 hours before the eatery's opening for a chance to win free Chick-fil-A for a year.
Raffle tickets for the 100 spots eligible for a free year of Chick-fil-A were distributed and just 110 people – including the guests of the lucky 100 -- will be allowed to stick around until the restaurant's opening Thursday.
Chick-fil-A restaurant openings invariably draw crowds of people camping out in hopes of being one of the first 100 to be rewarded with a year of free meals.
The new restaurant in Brea will feature a dual-order drive-thru pattern. The company says the Brea restaurant will be among the 40 new restaurants they plan to open in California over the next 18 months.
