Celebrate Musical And Dance Traditions Of North India This Weekend
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Chitresh Das visited the KCAL 9 studios Thursday to talk about the upcoming performance of India Jazz Suites.
India Jazz Suites is a collaboration with Emmy award-winning tap dancer Jason Samuels Smith. Das also preformed a dance demonstration with BARE FEET (no music required).
Das is India's foremost Kathak Dance Master who is one of the most dynamic and far-reaching artists to emerge from modern India.
India Jazz Suites will be in town this week, Oct. 21 & 22 at 8 p.m. at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach.
