CBS2 Obtains Arrest Report In Puig's Latest Reckless Driving Case
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — CBS2 has obtained the arrest report for Dodgers star Yasiel Puig, who was arrested in Florida Saturday for allegedly driving 110 miles an hour in a 70-mile-per-hour zone.
"Mr. Puig showed willful and total disregard for the safety of his mother and the other passengers…and placed the lives of everyone on the roadway in danger. If Mr. Puig had loss of control, his mother and his passengers would not have survived," Officer G. Morales of the Florida Highway Patrol wrote in the report.
This is Puig's second arrest for reckless driving this year.
Earlier this week, the Dodgers issued a statement saying, in part, that Puig's behavior "is very serious to us."
Puig lives in Miami during the off season.
