CBS Radio's KNX & KFWB Awarded Six Golden Mikes
LOS ANGELES — KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO and KFWB NEWS TALK 980 won a total of six Golden Mikes at the 61st annual awards dinner held last evening in Universal City. The awards are presented annually for excellence in radio, TV and Internet broadcast journalism by the Radio & Television News Association of Southern California (RTNA), representing newsrooms in Los Angeles, San Diego and other markets from Bakersfield to the Mexican border.
