Caught On Tape: Hit And Run Accident Critically Injures Mother And Son
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A hit and run accident that critically injured a 45-year-old woman and her teen son is caught on tape and police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver.
Los Angeles police released the security camera footage of the crime that occurred around 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Western Avenue and 80th Street.
Authorities say the suspect is described as a black woman who was driving a burgundy, late model car with front end damage. Witnesses say the car could be a Toyota.
The victims were from Sacramento and were visiting family in Los Angeles.
