Caretaker Suspected Of Kidnapping Toddler

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Authorities say a 2-year-old girl and the 18-year-old woman caring for her are missing.

Police say Lashiba Joy Berry's father left the girl and her 2-month-old brother with friend Tamara Moore Tuesday night while he ran an errand. When Larry Berry returned to the trailer, the girl and Moore were gone.

The 2-month-old boy was left alone in the trailer.

Lashiba is 3 feet tall and weighs 45 pounds. She was last seen wearing pink and orange pajamas.

Moore is known to frequent the area of 103rd Street between Figueroa Street and Western Avenue.

Moore is 5-foot-8, 140 pounds and has tattoos under both eyes and a tattoo of the name "William" on the back of her neck.
