Car Slams Into Van Nuys Apartment Complex; Building Inspectors Called
VAN NUYS (CBS) — It was a jarring wake-up call for residents after a vehicle slammed into an apartment complex in Van Nuys on Monday.
Authorities received a call at around 5:40 a.m. that a driver had crashed his car into at least one parked vehicle at a two-story complex between at 7444 Haskell between Stagg and Saticoy.
Building inspectors were called out to the scene after the damaged car was pushed into a retaining wall.
The driver — who reportedly lives in one of the units — was transported to Northridge Medical Center for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
