Car Slams Into Downey Apartment Complex
DOWNEY (CBS) — Downey police Saturday were investigating how a car ended up in apartment building.
A Toyota Supra crashed into the mailroom of the Graystone Manor Apartments in the 7100 block of Stewart and Gray Road about 7:40 p.m. Friday, but no one was injured, a fire department dispatcher said.
The Supra driver told an On Scene camera crew that he swerved to avoid another vehicle that had stopped on Stewart and Gray Road at Pernell Avenue.
It was unclear if he was cited in connection with the wreck.
