Camarillo Associate Principal Facing New Molestation Allegations

CAMARILLO (CBSLA.com) — A Ventura County high school administrator is facing new molestation allegations, it was announced Wednesday.

Camarillo High School Associate Principal Felix "David" Gallegos faces five misdemeanor charges of child molestation and sexual battery after a teacher and a student accused him of inappropriately touching them while on campus earlier this year.

The alleged crimes were reported to school officials on May 20 and Gallegos was arrested by Camarillo police on June 5.

However, a second female student came forward this week alleging Gallegos inappropriately touched her, according to an attorney representing the girl.

Gallegos was placed on paid administrative leave following the initial allegations. He had been employed with the Oxnard Union High School District for seven years.

Gallegos is currently free on $30,000 bond and will be arraigned on Aug. 28.
