Caltrans Project Causes Major Delays On Interstate 5
ARLETA (CBS) — A Caltrans project caused major delays on Interstate 5 from Santa Clarita to Burbank early Tuesday morning.
Five right lanes were closed for several hours, as well as the connector to the southbound 170 Freeway. Motorists were being detoured to surface streets in Arleta.
Work on the project, which was expected to be completed for the day before rush-hour traffic, wrapped up just before 7:30 a.m.
All southbound lanes were reopened, but delays were expected throughout the morning.
