Bynum's Second Technical, Fine Rescinded
(CBS) -- In the fourth quarter of the Lakers' 109-87 win against the New York Knicks on Sunday, Bynum was whistled for two consecutive technical fouls for arguing a foul call with referee Leon Wood.
The second of the two technicals has been rescinded by the NBA, according to league spokesman Tim Frank. The second technical carries with it a $2,000 fine.
The NBA expanded its technical foul rule prior to the season to include issuing Ts for "overt" player reactions to referee calls.
The Lakers have been hit with 15 technical fouls as a team in their past 10 games.
