Burglary Suspects In Standoff With Long Beach Police
LONG BEACH (CBS) — A SWAT team surrounded a home in Long Beach Friday where two burglary suspects are holed up.
Long Beach police responded to a residential burglary call in the 2300 block of Stearnlee Ave. at 9:30 a.m. Authorities say two men barricaded themselves in the home after seeing police arrive on the scene.
It is unknown if there are any additional people inside the home. Police say it is unclear if the suspects were armed.
Police ordered some evacuations in the area.Traffic is being routed away from the area.
