Bruno Mars Performs Covers At Pre-Grammy Event
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Before singing his own songs, Bruno Mars performed a number of covers at a pre-Grammy celebration.
The rising singer-songwriter-producer started Friday night with a rendition of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On." He followed that with performances of The Outfield's "Your Love," Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step," Bell Biv DeVoe's "Poison," Montell Jordan's "This Is How We Do It" and Jackson's 5 "I Want You Back."

Then R&B singer Monica came out, giving a top-notch performance of her 1990's hit, "Before You Walk Out of My Life," while Mars sang background.
Singer Keri Hilson also joined Mars for a duet of his latest hit "Grenade."
With seven nominations at Sunday's Grammys, Mars is just behind Eminem, who is up for 10 awards. Mars' nods mostly come from his work on Cee Lo's "(Expletive) You!" and B.o.B's "Nothin' on You."
