Boy, 17, Shot In Moreno Valley
MORENO VALLEY (CBS) — Authorities were investigating the shooting of a teenage boy in a Moreno Valley neighborhood Thursday.
A shooting call came into the Riverside County Sheriff's Department around 3:40 p.m.
When officials responded to the 13300 block of Helmsdale Street, they found a 17-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
Police said the boy was shot during a confrontation with one or more suspects.
The victim was rushed to Riverside County Regional Medical Center. His condition was not immediately known.
