Bomb Squad Gives 'All-Clear' After Suspicious Package Found Near USC Campus
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police Thursday investigated a suspicious package found in or outside of a post office near the USC campus.
An anonymous caller reported the package just before 9 a.m. in the 3500 block of South Vermont Avenue in Exposition Park, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The LAPD bomb squad responded and gave an all clear just after 10:30 a.m.
Vermont Avenue was shut down from Jefferson to Exposition during the investigation, officials said.
