Body Found In Shallow Grave Along 105 Freeway In Downey
DOWNEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a body was found Sunday in a shallow grave along the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in Downey.
The body was discovered about 4:45 p.m. on the westbound 105 west of Lakewood Boulevard, Sgt. Vince Rosario of the Downey Police Department said.
California Highway Patrol officials notified Downey police after they discovered the remains.
They were found in a shallow grave near the embankment, Rosario said.
A homicide investigation was ongoing.
