Blood Drive To Be Held For Firefighter Critically Injured In Blast
SYLMAR (CBS) — A blood drive will be held Thursday to help a firefighter who was critically injured when a building exploded in Sylmar earlier this week.
Timothy Larson, who reportedly co-owns the business that was destroyed Tuesday, lost an arm and a leg in the blast.
The off-duty firefighter was on disability leave at the time.
Larson's brother died in a workplace explosion in Simi Valley last year.
Thursday's blood drive will be held between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills.
