Blake Griffin (Back Spasms) Leaves Game Against Rockets
HOUSTON (CBSLA/AP) -- Los Angeles Clippers' forward Blake Griffin injured his back in the first quarter against the Houston Rockets.
There appeared to be minimal contact between Griffin and Donatas Motiejunas before Griffin dropped to his hands and knees on his way to the bench after a timeout was called midway through the first quarter Saturday night.
He will most likely not return to the game with back spasms.
Griffin entered the game averaging 24.3 points and 9.8 rebounds.
"Big Baby" Davis will also not return to the game due to disciplinary action.
