Big Rig Collides With Train Near Long Beach
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A big rig collided with a train shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday near the border of Long Beach and Compton.
The accident happened just south of the 91 freeway on Santa Fe Avenue.
Police were investigating whether the train crossing signals failed, or the truck driver did not see them.
Santa Fe was closed at Artesia Boulevard while the investigation was underway.
No injuries were reported, and no further information was available.
