Bieber's New Beverly Hills Neighbors Already Fed Up With The Commotion
BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Singer Justin Bieber is already making some of his new neighbors in Beverly Hills wish for some peace and quiet.
Beverly Hills police confirm that they visited Bieber's condominium on North Oakhurst Drive six times over the weekend because of complaints about a loud party. While CBS2's Brittney Hopper found the scene much more sedate Tuesday night, Bieber's neighbors and video from the weekend party tell a different tale.
"I'm very upset because he's causing a lot of problems," said one neighbor who did not want to show her face on camera. "We don't have peace. All the time people are coming here."
Video of the party, taken about 2 a.m. Sunday, shows a group of loud women being escorted into Bieber's condo. Minutes later, police show up.
Not all of the neighbors are complaining about Bieber, with some even calling him very sweet and quiet. Their biggest qualm is with the tour buses that pass by the condominiums — including four in about two hours on Tuesday.
Neighbors also are complaining about teenage girls yelling Bieber's name from the street late at night.
"Honestly, I'm shocked that the police don't give the little girls who are outside past curfew, when Beverly Hills does have a strict curfew law, tickets more for screaming instead of going and bothering neighbors and Justin," said neighbor Amanda Weizemann.
Neighbors say many of Bieber's parties have been on the roof, where it can get noisy. Police said Bieber was not cited for anything over the weekend.
