Bicyclist Fatally Shot In Long Beach Drive-By
LONG BEACH (CBS) — A bicyclist was fatally shot in drive-by shooting in Long Beach Tuesday evening.
The shooting occurred around 8 p.m. in the 2100 block of East 14th Street, near Cherry Avenue, said Sgt. Rico Fernandez of the Long Beach Police Department.
The victim, whose name was withheld, was treated by paramedics and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Fernandez said.
A suspect fled the area in an unknown vehicle, Fernandez said.
