Beverly Center is the Glamorous Epicenter of Fashion's Night Out This Thursday
Mark your calendars and come out for a fashionable celebration on Thursday, September 6, as the Beverly Center hosts its third annual Fashion's Night Out (FNO), an event that originated in New York City and now takes place in several cities across the country on the same night.
Celebrity appearances, two large-scale fashion shows, and more than 100 participating stores (special sales/gifts) will give shoppers a myriad of choices for fun and celebration.
Think of Fashion's Night Out as a fashion party with music, entertainment, drinks, food, etc. Shop, see a show, have a drink, shop some more and have a great time! Check out the Beverly Center site to see which stores are participating. There's free SELF-parking from 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (stores will stay open late that night).
It is anticipated that more than 30,000 guests will attend FNO at the Beverly Center, which begins with Red Carpet arrivals at 5:00 p.m., an opening ceremony at 6:30 p.m., followed by fashion shows at 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The shows are free and can be viewed from all three levels of the center (the runway is on Level 6). The 9:00 p.m. show is exclusively by XXI Forever and geared towards young and fresh looks. Guests will experience a high energy, edgy, modern fashion show, as a massive LED jumbo screen displays the show clearly for all to see.
Kendall Jenner, from the famous Kardashian clan, will be joining actress and singer Lucy Hale ("Pretty Little Liars") in hosting the event at the Beverly Center's Center Court on Thursday, September 6. Following Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa's exclusive welcome video, Hale will be the hostess for the first of two runway fashion shows, starting at 7pm. The large-scale production will feature fall lines from the center's retailers. "This year's show theme is Young Hollywood, a nod to the diverse offering of luxury brands and the youthful direction of the Beverly Center customer, " says Susan Vance, Director of Marketing and Sponsorship. Lisa Love, West Coast Editor of Vogue, will also help kick off the fashion extravaganza.
Kendall Jenner can be seen all around town in a fun and whimsical ad campaign for Fashion's Night Out 2012. World-renowned photography team Brakhax2 (Moshe+ Eddie Brakha) captured Kendall emerging from an oversized shoebox, like a perfect doll, all dressed up in a couture gown. (Stylist: George Blodwell. Hair: Candice Birns, Rex Agency. Makeup: Camille Clark, Beauty Editor of Genlux Magazine. Art Direction: Stephen Kamifuji.)
Lucy Hale recently signed with Hollywood Records and is due to release a country album in 2013. She recently wrapped production on "A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song," opposite Missi Pyle. She has a long list of credits, including the critically acclaimed series "Privileged" and "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" opposite Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera and Amber Tamblyn.
The Beverly Center will be the epicenter of Fashion's Night Out in Los Angeles, though other venues around town will be celebrating as well, including Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Robertson and Melrose, and Venice. Check out FNO's website for listings.
The Beverly Center is proud to have the following sponsors and guests to aid in bringing FNO 2012 to fruition -- Maybelline New York, TRUE RELIGION BRAND JEANS, and guests Elle and Blair Fowler.
Come OUT AND JOIN THE FUN on September 6!
