The name of this TK artistic oddity contains some 17 steel girder and mesh sculptures decorated with everything, from ceramic pieces to glass bottles to sea shells. The artist, Simon Rodia, created these amazing structures between the years 1921 and 1954, ultimately coming up with works that are shockingly tall, amazingly complex, and so admired that the City of Los Angeles deemed his Watts Towers a National Historic Landmark.
