Veganism is becoming more of a staple in our everyday diets, especially in health-conscious Los Angeles. People are either making the full switch or modifying their diets for health or humanitarian reasons and are surprised by the amount of options. Thanks to the recent trend of food trucks, vegan chefs and proprietors have jumped on this band wagon serving up delicious, vegan fare every day. Here is a short list of the best vegan food trucks in Los Angeles, serving everything from Mexican fare, to acai bowls and delicious comfort food.

Crafted with a love for food, animals and the environment, Word of Mouth Truck is a 100% plant-based food truck that serves comfort food to the streets of LA. Created by Staci Stewart and Chris Chavez in 2017 after noticing a hole in the market for vegans at public events in Los Angeles, their menu features house-made snacks, sandwiches and sweets. Some of their most popular items are their Mac and Cheese Bites, Fried Chick'n Sandwich, and Western Cheeseburger. Cena Vegan began serving customers in June of 2016 in Highland Park serving vegans, vegetarians and those seeking healthier lifestyles with less or no meat, healthy and delicious Mexican food. The company serves 100% vegan street tacos, burritos and nacho boats with truly authentic Latin American flavors using their own plant-based meats with flavors including: carne asada, pollo asado, al pastor and gluten-free barbacoa. Green Truck has been serving #farmtotable local organic food to customers since 2006. With the philosophy of a healthy environment is essential to healthy living, their kitchen is solar powered, packaging is recyclable and the vegetable oil used for cooking is used to power their food trucks the next day.
