"Darling, You Slay Me – A Murder in 3 Acts" is set at an exclusive soiree at Lardi's, where Broadway's best and brightest come to see and be seen. As the cast and crew wait for the reviews to hit the streets, the players mysteriously fall one by one. Watch as these murders unravel through the personalities of these 1920s Broadway actors. The Hot Sardines are a unique jazz band from New York layering a brass lineup, rhythm section led by a stride-piano virtuoso in Fats Waller vein and a frontwoman with a voice from another era. Bandleader Evan "Bibs" Palazzo and lead singer Miz Elizabeth, along with the Sardine ensemble of powerhouse musicians, play "hot jazz" taking you back to an era where live music was king. The Sardine sounds is a fusion of musical influences from New York, Paris and New Orleans nurtured by the Prohibition era through the Great Depression, WWII and beyond. They even have their very own tap dancer.
