An organic mixture of great tunes and incredible food is a certainty when LA's own Roy Choi links up with Chef Jarobi White of A Tribe Called Quest. Last year, the duo played off of one another and held court over a capacity crowd enthusiastic to soak in the sounds of special guests DJs and chow down on what the guys were cranking out of the kitchen. Taking the trip all the way from the BX, White compliments the recipes of Choi all while establishing his own flair while audio professors like Mr. Choc and DJ Adam 12 blend beats at K-Town's famed Line Hotel. This is a Labor Day BBQ for the books.

Quickly becoming one of the most anticipated events of the summer, Shoreline Jam has needed all of five years to become the reggae-soaked bookend of the season. Going from one day to two and increasing the roster of talent every year since it's start, the collection for this go 'round includes performances from Matisyahu, Barrington Levy, and The Grouch & Eligh. A healthy mixture of good vibe veterans and a new generation of reggae rock stars, there are 20 different acts set to perform over the two-day festival.
