A collective effort among the businesses that anchor Little Tokyo, the Holiday marketplace reiterates the cultural diversity of Los Angeles while spreading a little holiday cheer. Starting at the Japanese American National Museum, visitors can grab passports connecting them to the plaza's unique shops and eateries. Offering festive tangents like "Shogun" Santa, Little Tokyo Karaoke, a mobile mural workshop, and a selfie contest, the two-day event runs from 11:00am to 4:00pm and boasts a few dozen participating businesses. The Cinespia Holiday party will be especially raucous this year as the collective is hosting a screening of the action-packed classic "Die Hard" at one of the city's most historic theatres. Making a stop at what has become familiar stomping grounds for the band, Saint Rocke will be shoulder to shoulder this weekend as the Aggrolites lead the Saturday night festivities. The cherry on top is Aggrolites' closing rendition of The Beatles and Billy Preston's "Don't Let Me Down" with a reggae cadence. It is impossible to avoid singing along.
