Enjoy paddle boating on the cheap by renting a paddle boat. It's the best way to go for those of you who have never even thought of using one. If you're already in love with them, it's convenient to rent one rather than buy and transport one to whichever body of water you choose to use. Orange County has multiple spots available for renting and using a paddle boat.

Among the other activities available at Irvine Regional Park, aquacycling is among them. An aquacycle is just a less cumbersome paddle boat. They are available during specific hours based on season. It costs $15 to rent a paddle boat for a half hour. The boats fits either two adults or an adult with two small kids

Mile Square Regional Park is named this because each side of it measures a mile long. It's perfect for runners and also has an archery range, but there's also a lake available for fishing and paddle boating. Have some fun and rent a paddle boat here. Renting a paddle boat in Lago Santa Margarita will cost you just $2 for a 30 minute ride use which will have you wanting more. This is specific for people who live in Rancho Santa Margarita, but if you live in the area, it's a nice little spot to do some paddle boating. Kids between the ages of 14 and 17 are allowed to rent and use a boat by themselves, but they will need a permission card on file from a parent or guardian. The lake is 11.5 acres, so there is plenty of room for exercise.
