From a Kings game on Monday to a the Dodgers opening weekend, there is plenty of opportunities to cheer for your favorite LA teams this week. Bundle up with your hoodie and hat and hit the ice to watch the LA Kings compete against the Minnesota Wild. Tonight's game theme is "Stick up for animals night," where proceeds benefit local animal rescues and adoption centers. In addition, the game is part of the Military Mondays promotion where members of the armed services can get special value tickets. Students can also score 50% off tickets with valid student ID.

LA's Puppet Fest has returned for its second year. Dedicated to sharing and promoting the art of puppetry, over 25 individual events will take place between April 1-13th in various venues across Los Angeles including Santa Monica, West LA, Hollywood, and more. Back for its second year is a city-wide celebration dedicated to sharing and promoting the art of puppetry through performances and workshops. The April Fool's Puppet Ball will take place tonight at Micky's in Santa Monica. Red carpet arrivals, a live DJ, performances, and contests will kick the puppet fest off with a bang.
