Best Of LA - Week Of April 6

Welcome to April, Los Angeles. Dodger baseball officially kicks off this week, and families can enjoy a day at the park or one of many other outdoor activities this week including a visit to the Pet Expo that can't be missed. Theater, music, and art opportunities continue this week as well as Los Angeles hosts a variety of free and ticked events for every interest. Let's get this week started.

www.dodgers.comFresh on the heels of their weekend exhibition with the LA Angels, the Los Angeles Dodgers will open their 2015 season in a three-game series against the division rival San Diego Padres. A magnet schedule will be given out to the first 40,000 guests in attendance, and three fans will have the chance to win a baseball autographed by the 2015 Dodgers team, led by Yasiel Puig, Clayton Kershaw, and Zack Greinke. Dodger fans will also enjoy a new stadium announcer, Todd Leitz.

The first-ever Art Walk Gallery Tour will be featured in tonight's event giving a unique opportunity to enjoy some behind-the-scenes tours and meet and greets with the gallery owners and exhibiting artists.
