Prepare your most terrifying moans and growls and put on your best zombie threads for the inaugural Zombie Crawl in Santa Monica. The first rule of Zombie Crawl is keeping an authentic zombie appearance, but participating zombies must keep their arms extended, drag a limb and deliver vicious snarls and moans without talking. If you're not so great with the zombie makeup, you can get some help from makeup artists at the starting location -- Rusty's Surf Ranch on the Pier. The crawl begins at Rusty's and moves on Big Dean's, Ye Old King's Head, Barney's Beanery, Brittania Pub, West 4th & Jane and ends at Wokcano, where there will also be an official zombie after party. An official zombie photo shoot will be taken under the pier sign at 8 p.m. The official Zombie Crawl wristband will give you access to $4 drafts, $5 wells and $5 shots all night at the participating bars and entrance to the after party. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the Zombie Crawl.
