Best Asian Restaurants In Los Angeles
Asian food is one of the "go-to" cuisines when you really aren't sure what you want to eat. Just the mere suggestion of it brings the thought of dumplings, chow mein and wonton soup to mind. It's affordable, delicious, and you can eat for days with the amount of food they cram into one of those containers. The fact that most Chinese food places deliver makes it even better. So whether you're looking for a quick dinner for one or food to feed multiple mouths, check out these places for the best Asian food in Los Angeles.
Bao Dim Sum House

If you're not looking for the full "Chinese" experience of a dim sum restaurant, then Bao Dim Sum House is for you. There are menus instead of carts and a relaxed atmosphere instead of people shouting Chinese across the restaurant. The pork and shrimp, shumai beef tripe with ginger and scallions and the chicken siu mai are some of the customer favorites. Pair them with any of Bao's craft cocktails like the Bao fashioned or the white lotus cosmo and you've got a meal with bragging rights.

Pine & Crane is Silver Lake's "go-to" for Taiwanese/Chinese cuisine. Unfortunately it doesn't deliver, but do offer a delivery service through CAVIAR between noon and 5 p.m. The casual and spacious dining room makes eating out enjoyable and shares outside space with the Sunset Triangle. The menu may seem limited, but the flavors of the items offered are boundless. The Jia Zhang noodles, the three cup mushroom trumpets, minced pork bowl, beef noodle soup and spicy shrimp dumplings are all must tries.

Myung In Dumplings
3109 W. Olympic Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90006
(213) 381-3568
www.myungin.site.mobi
If it's dumplings you're after, then Myung In Dumplings should be your first choice. With dumplings right in the name, you'll find all your favorites and probably some new ones in this Koreatown spot. Spicy shrimp, pork & vegetable, fried shrimp with pork, kimchi dumplings, dumpling soup, dumpling casserole and dumplings with sweet red bean are just some of the flavorful offerings you'll find here. Unfortunately, Myung doesn't deliver and dining in can be a challenge, as the place is pretty small but their takeout skills are pretty stellar.
Mr Chow
344 N. Camden Drive
Beverly Hills, CA 90210
(310) 278-9911
www.mrchow.com
Mr. Chow is almost as famous and its celebrity clientele. From Madonna to the Kardashians, everyone goes to Mr. Chow for Chinese cuisine. Celebrities and regular folk alike love the glazed prawns with pecans, Mr Chow's Noodles and the fiery beef, which are some of the best Chinese dishes in LA. You also get the option of leaving your dinner in the hands of the chef, which is highly recommended by all who have taken such a leap. The restaurant is very closely seated and bumping elbows with your neighbor is inevitable, but when you're sitting next to a celebrity you tolerate such things. Be prepared, the food is amazing but it's expensive.
