Best New Brunch Restaurants In Los Angeles

Brunch is one of those luxury meal times, perfect on a lazy weekend day. What better way to do brunch than in Los Angeles. While traditional menu items like omelets and pancakes and eggs Benedict and smoked salmon are typically offered at restaurants, the best L.A. brunch offerings are the ones that chefs add their personal touch to, using unique ingredients to elevate the meal. Mimosas and Bloody Marys are also very welcome at these brunch tables.

Focusing on house-made ingredients and highly seasonal produce, Chef de Cuisine Chris Emerling has transformed all of the menus at Bel Air Bar & Grill to reflect a "borderless cuisine." Brunch is unique and delicious with favorites including Chef Emerling's avocado on grilled Texas-style brioche with a house-made marscarpone, tomato, chili and tiny cilantro, Oaxaca fruit salad — a version of the ubiquitous avocado toast — the salmon Benedict made with wilted spinach, house-cured salmon, soft poached egg and hollandaise that Chef Emerling incorporates the house-cured tequila salmon, warm buttermilk biscuits and Grand Marnier fruit gravy, and Susan Disney Lord's "Favorite" salad. Owned by Susan Disney Lord, the grand-niece of Walt Disney and daughter of Roy E. Disney, Bel Air Bar & Grill has recently gone through an interior redesign and menu overhaul. The restaurant also employs the new tipless system, removing all the options for gratuities while only raising menu prices by a small, insignificant amount.
