For those who want to get into dance but are not sure what type of genre to get into, IDA is the school for you. This Hollywood dance studio offers classes ranging from hip-hop, ballet, ballet hip-hop, and jazz to tap and a host of others. For single classes the cost is very inexpensive, or opt for a class pass, which is good for one month and includes 4 to 12 class sessions. If you decide that you love the academy, you can purchase an unlimited class pass for a few hundred dollars.

Founded in 1992 by artistic director Elizabeth Banke, Dance Studio No. 1 has been recognized in the community for it's outstanding Young Children's Program. The school currently has several hundred students ranging from ages 2-19, where it spealizes inn classical ballet while also offering contemporary, character dance, pointe, variations and conditioning classes.
