Let's not jinx it, but the weather has been undeniably perfect for the summer thus far. It's been sunny enough to prompt people off the couch, but not hot enough to keep people under their roofs. With the Fourth Of July in the rearview, the BBQ all cleaned up and the lawn chairs put away, it's time to get out and get back to discovering the plenty of cool people, places, and faces of Orange County. Regardless of budget or preference, there is always something happening that'll prove a worthwhile way to spend your days away from the office. Here is a look at what's happening in Orange County this weekend.

Equal parts café upscale lounge and bowling alley tavern 55 has found a new home in Costa Mesa triangle Square. Challenging the conventional idea of the still tacky DeeDee bowling alley's tavern 55 is a stylish alternative to the typical nightlife options. With a cocktail program that does Mixology without the pretense, a kitchen that cranks out a menu far from the standard bowling alley snacks, and the ambiance that encourages participation, it's tough to not have fun at Tavern 55. Open 7 days a week and offering daily specials and promotions, there's always plenty going on in addition to the pursuit of that perfect 300 game.

Late Drawings Of Andy Warhol
Fullerton Museum
301 N Pomona Ave.
Fullerton, CA 92832
(714) 738-6545
www.cityoffullerton.com

Best known for his signature of POP ART, Andy Warhol is a name quickly recited by among art discussion, regardless of how much or little you know. Presenting a different perspective of the same personality, the intimate confines of the Fullerton Museum play host to lesser-known works understandably overlooked when it comes to Warhol's more familiar contributions. Sketches, portraiture, even advertisements are all on display from Warhol's latter years. The exhibit provides a unique, candid look at an artist whose mystique is still very much larger than life. The unpolished and informal collection almost seems at odds with the persona of Warhol making this a truly unique museum experience.
