Sanders' Southern California Campaign Blitz Stretches Into Sixth Day
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will continue his presidential campaign in Southern California Friday with a rally at the Los Angeles Maritime Museum and an appearance on "Real Time with Bill Maher."
Friday is the sixth consecutive day Sanders has campaigned the Southland, in advance of the June 7 California primary.
Sander's opponent, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, is scheduled to be in Oakland in what her campaign describes as "a community discussion on breaking barriers and increasing opportunity."
The 74-year-old self-described socialist spoke at a rally at Ganesha High School in Pomona Thursday and made an appearance on the ABC late-night talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
