Behind The Scenes Of Broadway's Hit Show 'Wicked'
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Back by popular demand, "Wicked"returns to the Pantages Theatre for a strictly-limited engagement this holiday season running now through January 29, 2012.
Lauren Boyd, a local actress born in West Covina and raised in San Dimas, has joined the cast. She stopped by KCAL9 Monday to spill secrets about the show.
Based on the best-selling 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire, "Wicked" is the untold story of the witches of Oz. Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz. One – born with emerald-green skin – is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. "Wicked" tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, and how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
