Barricade Situation Involving Armed Man Reported At La Puente Home
LA PUENTE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a La Puente man barricaded himself inside his La Puente home Sunday evening following a shooting.
Sky9's Desmond Shaw said the situation started just after 5:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Peckham Street.
A SWAT team is aiding LA County Sheriff's in the negotiating process.
The man's family reported the suspect had a gun and had fired it. No one was hurt. The man's family was able to escape, officials said.
The incident is playing out just east of the 605 Freeway and north of the 60, Shaw said.
