Bank Robber Sought In Huntington Beach Heist

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Police are looking for man who is wanted for robbing a bank in Orange County.

At 2:15 p.m. on July 27, a suspect entered the US Bank branch at 19900 Beach Blvd. and demanded cash,  Huntington Beach police said.

The suspect claimed he had a weapon.

"The bank employee cooperated and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash," Lt. Mitch O'Brien said.

He was last seen running west across Beach Boulevard., O'Brien said.

The suspect is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years old, weighing approximately 195 pounds. He was wearing sunglasses, a black visor, a yellow polo shirt, tan shorts and dark colored sandals at the time of the robbery.
