Bad Weather Up North Delays Flights From Southland
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The Federal Aviation Administration Sunday said bad weather in Northern California delayed flights from the Southland an average of just over two hours.
Fog at San Francisco International Airport was causing delays there and flight controllers were holding SFO-bound flights at their departure airports by an average of 122 minutes.
No other major destinations in the United States were experiencing major delays Sunday, according to the FAA's Web site.
