Autism Author Leslie Crucil Discusses 'The Saga Of Sammy'

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Author Leslie Crucil visited the KCAL9 studios Monday to talk about her book, The Saga of Sammy.

Leslie Crucil is an educator who has taught from the high school level up to the university level and she holds a Master's Degree in Psychology & Counseling. Leslie has written The Saga of Sammy which chronicles over 20 years of significant events and "adventures", that occurred while raising your daughter, Samantha, who has Autism.

The book details many personal, painful, and even funny insights that only someone who has been dealing with a child with Autism over the long haul could know. It is an honest and upfront documentation of what her family has gone through and provides great comfort and tremendous insight for other parents and families going through many of the same experiences.
